October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Ministry of Health is encouraging women across Bermuda to make breast health a priority. Its announcement highlights the importance of breast health education, appropriate screening and supporting those affected by breast cancer. Residents are encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider about their individual risk factors and recommended screening schedule. The month also provides an opportunity to check in with friends and family and encourage conversations about breast care. Read the Ministry’s announcement.
